Welcome to the Wiki designed to keep all the constituents involved in "real time" about the Comprehensive Strategic Planning (CSP) process for Chambersburg Area School District. This site is public! Anyone may view and add content to the wiki during the process and creation of the CSP. While the CSP is a regulatory requirement, CASD believes that strategic planning is a cornerstone to great programming for student learning. The components of this wiki will include team members, surveys and results, process outlines and involvement opportunities as well as budgetary impacts and much more.
The reason we are providing you more detailed information about the process is to get you involved. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has redesigned the Strategic Planning process to be completed every three years and it is more comprehensive than in the past. It is Chambersburg's intent to improve stakeholder involvement, streamline planning and improve student achievement. Now more than ever, planning is essential to maintain quality educational services for students in a fiscally responsible manner.
